RISK ASSESSMENT

Risk Assessment- The process of evaluating the potential risk that my occur while filming our film. The risk assessment is important as it ensures the safety of our group and any of the public.

The Park Scene- The fact that we required a lot of space to shoot meant that we had to escort people out of the shot and ask others for permission to be in the film. also as some of the shots entailed Lakeisha running on uneven and muddy , this meant that we had to make sure we could limit the amount of obstacles.

Police Station- This was one of the more difficult scenes to shoot as we needed the permission from the police men and other staff to film the cars. we were unsuccessful at one police station meaning we had to find another who eventually did allow us to shoot (with some restrictions). we did have to be careful of other moving squad cars in the area while shooting. to prevent getting hit we were very visualant of our surroundings.

Conference Room- there wasn't much risk when filming these scenes as the room is really only made up of chairs and tables. one thing we did have to be mindful of was the fact that we were surrounded by other classrooms with lessons taking place meaning we would have to accommodate that by not making to much noise.

Classroom scenes- again there were not really any risk of harm but there were issues with availability of rooms. in order to make sure that the classrooms were free for us to shoot we requested the lesson timetables.
